{"id":8050,"date":"2022-02-16T12:18:59","date_gmt":"2022-02-16T17:18:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/360mediations.com\/en\/?p=8050"},"modified":"2022-02-16T12:19:03","modified_gmt":"2022-02-16T17:19:03","slug":"anton-piller-order-made-against-rogue-network-engineer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mail.360mediations.com\/en\/anton-piller-order-made-against-rogue-network-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"Anton Piller Order Made Against Rogue Network Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This case illustrates how frail our computer networks can be: in this case deliberately being brought down by a disgruntled employee who had access to the network\u2019s back-end.\u00a0 Indeed, the employee was able to shut the plaintiff&#8217;s servers down from a remote location based on the way he manipulated the system internally.\u00a0 As if this was not bad enough, the disgruntled employee went further and went on a social media campaign to defame the employer ownership.\u00a0 The court was asked to grant an Anton Piller Order to allow the former employer (the plaintiffs) to seize and preserve evidence relevant to this case.\u00a0 The court was satisfied that such an order was warranted, without any notice to the defendant.\u00a0 It was a legitimate concern that if the defendant knew what was about to be seized, it would get deleted and\/or altered.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Path Network, Inc. v.
