The more common issues that often arise include:

  • A preferred location within the region selected;
  • The need for a large meeting room and many breakout rooms because the dispute involves many parties;
  • The need for audio/visual equipment, such as a DVD player and television;
  • The need for a start time or finish time that is outside of the normal 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. time slot;
  • A specific location for the mediation;
  • The need for a weekend mediation;
  • The need for video conferencing;
  • The need to have a Structured Settlement Broker present during the negotiations.
